The only reason we die, is because we accept death as an inevitability

February 2, 2010

On Monday, I told myself that I would spend my time in between classes reading a book for one of my classes.  It's an interesting book, but it does get very repetitive.  So, when my first break between classes came to be, I didn't read, I didn't study.  To make a long story short, the hour and change of the break I had, I spent 80% of my time on IMDB looking up Superbad Quotes.  I can't tell you how much I have viewed this movie, but what I do know is that it NEVER GETS OLD!  I have watched this movie countless times, I got my girlfriend addicted to this movie as well.  We will sit and watch this movie together, and we really won't listen to the lines because we're busy quoting the movie, as it rolls on.

Another thing that I have always liked to do when I'm on IMDB, is check out the goofs/continuity section.  This is the part where people insert, the "goofs & continuity", simple.  For example, when Seth is driving to pick Evan up, they're talking about which "site" to subscribe to (The Perfect Ten).  When he(Seth) arrives, they show him with his seatbelt on in one picture and it off in the very next frame.  "It's the little things that make the difference." How many times have you heard that in your life?

Due to the lack of warmth, I have decided to grow out a somewhat "manly-patchy beard", it's a work in progress.  Other things in my life currently include, still, is COD.  I admit, embarrassingly enough, that I did spend almost 6 solid hours of time yesterday playing online.  When I went to bed, I had a feeling of worthlessness, like what I had just done was a complete waste of time.  I guess it's the simple things in life that give you the most pleasure.  For me, however, playing COD just keeps me focused, which, with my self-diagnosed A.D.D.(my Mother thinks I have it as well.) is a good thing.  I will try, just for tonight, to not even touch the Xbox, just because I have to jot some notes down for one of my tests that I have tomorrow in Business Communications (the class I'm reading the book for).  Should be a doosey(correct spelling??)

My last bit of advice for you: be sure to keep blankets, food, and survival things in your trunk/backseat.  Never know when it's going to be -145 and your car is stuck on the side of the road.  Just a thought. Until next time, I'm, Ron Burgundy??
